I finally got around to registering my dog with the city's dog registry. It's basically an official database where you log your pet's microchip number, vaccines, and your contact info. The process was simpler than I expected, just had to fill out an online form and upload a vet record. It gives me peace of mind knowing if my pup ever gets lost, animal control can scan his chip and get him home quickly.
